Over the years developers have come up with a number of ways to emulate the golf swing in video games, from the old-school Triclick button system to the more recent Trueswing method. Those days could very well be over. With the help of In2Games' Gametrak Game System, Real World Golf virtually puts the club in your hands.

When all is said and done, Real World Golf is a novel idea. It gets players up, active and swinging like they were actually at the driving range or golf course; that's a good thing. With that said, the putting mechanics aren't up to par and the game isn't going to blow anyone away in terms of presentation, but if you're a golf fan that would rather swing a club, even a mini one at that, as opposed to pushing a few buttons or moving an analog stick around, you very well might want to consider taking a hack at Real World Golf.

What we said about it:

If you own OR 2, you've got plenty of reasons to pick up Coast 2 Coast. It picks up right where that game left off, improving some key areas of gameplay, while adding in more modes and tracks. If you don't own it, didn't like it, or simply don't enjoy arcade racers, you might want to pass. I hope that folks with an open mind give it a try, no matter what their racing preferences are. There's a lot to enjoy here, and while the thrills may come quickly, they're also many in number. I do wish that OR 2's bonus tracks and classic OutRun hadn't been omitted though. Their absence is rather glaring, and did take away from my enjoyment of C2C. Fortunately, the rest of the experience makes up for these shortcomings.

What we said about it:

Visually, MLB '06 hasn't made a significant leap forward but there are noticeable improvements to the menu system and the amount of detail in the players' faces. With over 8000 motion-captured moves, you'll recognize many of the players' signature batting stances and pitching wind-ups. The fielding animations are top notch as well.

MLB '06: The Show for the PSP is a much more complete portable package compared to last year's edition. The core gameplay mechanics remain in tact and the presentation is as solid as ever. Combine that with the addition of several new and improved game modes, such as Career Mode, Multi-Season Mode and King of the Diamond Mode, and you've got a baseball simulation that is sure to entertain baseball fans throughout the entire season.
