What we said about it:

There has been no lack of FIFA titles dribbling onto the market over the past year or so. We had FIFA 06, followed shortly by EA’s World Cup title to match the greatest sporting tournament in the world. Now, not that long after, we have FIFA 07. With the more than usual amount of soccer titles, it would be very easy for EA to put out a run of the mill, nothing-new soccer game. Thankfully, this is not what EA has settled for.

FIFA 07 is a great game. It’s a great game not because EA has done something revolutionary or drastic, but rather because they have taken a great game and made subtle improvements throughout, making it the best FIFA title to date. It feels, looks, and plays better than the previous titles, and that’s saying a lot.

What we said about it:

Tourist Trophy succeeds at providing a solid Gran Turismo experience with motorcycles. If you've loved that series, you'll like this. Even though I have mixed feelings about that series, I found a lot to like here. The use of bikes really freshens things up, and helps prevent TT from feeling like a fully-priced GT 4 add-on. When all of the game's tracks are taken from that game, it's quite an accomplishment to escape that fate and they managed to pull it off here. Anyone expecting a purely frenetic racing game should pass, but this should provide sim racing fans with a satisfying game. There's a lot to tinker with here, and gaming gearheads will be in heaven.

What we said about it:

Fight Night Round 3 on the Xbox 360 is a benchmark in terms of next-gen graphics and how gamers are expecting these new titles to look. The general buzz around the industry is that with the release of this title and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (within two weeks of each other) that the next generation has 'officially' begun. The player models in Fight Night Round 3 are stunning and photo-realistic right down to the material on the gloves and shorts. Both the "create a champ" and career modes offer the ability to create a fighter from scratch, using what seems to be a slightly watered down version of the Tiger Woods Game Face tools.
