"The ability to play as 3 races is definitely a great thing, the gameplay for each race is radically different from the others, and present a whole new set of goals, objectives, and strategy. I don't see this game getting boring in single player easily, as each race has MANY missions to complete. I suggest (as does the game) you start with the Terrans, they are the most familiar to play with, and have the easiest mission goals. However the other aliens are a blast to play."

"I have been waiting a long time for a game that can completely immerse me into its unique atmosphere and keep me there. The sound, graphics, gameplay and the sheer amount of fun that can be extracted from this game make it in my opinion, one of the best games this year, if not the "Game of the Year". "-Trip In

"Populous 3 does exactly what Bullfrog appears to have wanted to achieve. A fun and interesting God game that will keep the gamers attention. It's well done and a big kudos should go to Bullfrog for maintaining their creative edge on the competition and creating yet another game that just doesn't fit evenly in its genre."-Rebellion
