The Story You're the Juggernaut Corps and you're taking on the enemies which are invading. You trying to take back a "Armageddon" weapon to go and use against them. And of course there can only be one pilot to use the ship to go and warp into and get the parts to get the Armageddon weapon. And, well, guess who the lucky guy is. Yay. Gameplay: The controls are reminiscent of the old "Asteroids" thus making it an Asteroids clone. The gameplay isn't Asteroids - it's more like spaceships flying in and out instead of asteroids. The plane of combat is one screen which limits a lot of things, like dodging down or up - instead it's only side to side in a 2D plane. This makes it very confusing for us gamers that are used to space simulations that are 3D. But if you are 30+ and you still remember your nickel video games that you used to play in the arcade then by all means this is the game for you. But I feel that the controls are sloppy and a little unresponsive. Controls - The Controls remind me of when I had a broken Nintendo controllers and it kept going forward when I pressed it and the only way it stopped was when I smashed my controller to the ground. What I'm trying to say is when you press forward or any direction in that case your ship drifts endlessly until you hit something, which happens to be a spaceship, a shot, or a freaking Asteroid. Thus giving you a oh so helpful message "Your Hull has been breached, Your dead", making you pissed and leaving with that "so tell me what I don't know!" type feeling. Graphics: Any 3D you may think you saw in the game is actually just shading on the sprites. The sprites are gliding on the playing field. The explosions are about the only thing that this game has for it - even if they are miniature, only they stand out. Music & Sound: The music is cheesy it reminds me of the MIDIs I used to make in my spare time in school when I had a minute or two to spare. The MIDI actually makes me want to rip out my $300 speakers and throw them out the window while screaming "Make it stop!". Fun Factor: There is no fun when you can't control the ship and you blow up every 5 minutes. The action is repetitive, slow, and graphically lacking. Final words: I read a lot about this game and when I got it, it was VERY disappointing. Incidentally, if you happen to have read the raving reviews about this game on the company's web page, the only reasoning that I can come up with for these absurd high remarks is probably the fact that people reviewing the game before were old people that used to waste their nickels by standing in front of Asteroids trying to get the top score. But for me I feel that this game should've stayed on the project board and never been developed.
