There’s always a market for golf games but then there’s always a market for mini golf titles. The success of games like Hot Shots Golf and Mario Golf should speak volumes that there are plenty of gamers interested in golfing without the frustration and hassle of eighteen holes. JAMDAT’s Mini Golf steps up to fill that void.
Instead of realistic looking holes, Mini Golf will feature the wild and zany when it comes to the putting game. Using a camera built in the game to pan around the hole, gamers can bounce off obstacles and barriers to try to get that elusive hole in one. The addition of moving obstacles and sloped elevations will only serve to make sinking the big one all the more difficult.
Mini Golf’s colorful graphics helps bring to life a Tiki island theme. With large on screen characters and music and sound effects, Mini Golf should be pleasing to be everyone. Designed by the same folks who brought us JAMDAT Bowling (which by the way, won an award in our review here), this is certainly one title to keep an eye out for.
