Respawn and Lucasfilm Games Unveil Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

At Star Wars Celebration, Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts, and Lucasfilm Games unveiled Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the next chapter of the Star Wars action-adventure series chronicling the journey of Jedi Cal Kestis. Developed by Respawn under the leadership of game director Stig Asmussen, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will expand upon the Star Wars stories, worlds, characters, and combat first experienced in the series’ debut title, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is being built for the current generation of gaming hardware to create a deeper and more expansive Star Wars experience when the game launches in 2023.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor picks up five years after the events of Jedi: Fallen Order. Cal must stay one step ahead of the Empire’s constant pursuit as he begins to feel the weight of being one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy. Accompanied by his trusty companion BD-1, Cal will meet and ally himself with an array of unique and interesting characters on his journey. Jedi: Survivor will expand on the series’ combat in new and innovative ways. In order to survive, Cal must learn new skills and grow his connection with the Force.

Mario Strikers: Battle League First Kick Demo Event

The Mario Strikers: Battle League game launches for the Nintendo Switch on June 10th, and for those looking to get a leg up on the competition, the Mario Strikers: Battle League First Kick demo event is now available to download for free in Nintendo eShop and in the My Nintendo Store, and is open to all Nintendo Switch Online members, as well as anyone using a free Nintendo Switch Online seven-day trial.

The Mario Strikers: Battle League First Kick demo event includes access to online team battles, available June 3-5, plus a training mode and some pre-season “friendlies” to help you prepare for match day. The Mario Strikers: Battle League First Kick demo’s training mode teaches you all of the basics, from shooting, passing and tackles to more advanced moves and skills. Once you’re accustomed to the controls, you’ll be ready to put everything on the line and take on other budding strikers online in team battles at the following times:

Pac-Man Museum+ Available Now on Consoles and PC

Bandai Namco announced the launch of Pac-Man Museum+, bringing together classic and nostalgic titles from the legendary game franchise’s library. The game puts players in a virtual arcade with fourteen different Pac-Man games, from the original Pac-Man and Super Pac-Man to Pac-Man 256, along with a few rare surprises. Pac-Man Museum+ is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, and is playable on Xbox Game Pass. The game is also compatible with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Gundam Evolution Closed Network Test Coming to Consoles; Registration Open Now

Bandai Namco announced that registration has opened for Gundam Evolution’s upcoming Closed Network Test on consoles, which will take place from June 23 – June 28 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Initial registration is available now through June 12th, with results slated to be announced between June 16 – June 17. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R to Launch September 2nd

Bandai Namco has announced JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R, the anime-based fighting game, is launching for PC via Steam on September 1st, and PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on September 2nd. To celebrate, a new gameplay trailer showscases four new characters from the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure franchise – Robert E. O. Speedwagon, Mariah, Pet Shop, and Diego Brando – seen in-game for the first time.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R will also receive an “Early Access Demo” that is coming soon to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The demo gives players hands-on time with two modes with online PvP and practice modes.
