Falcon 4.0 (c) Microprose
Percentage of Votes: 30.49%

"The game works extremely well. What do I mean by "works"? Well, I don't mean that it loads well or anything like that, I mean that in a certain mission, everything falls into place very well, or so I thought. The enemy aircraft aren't exactly genius aces, but they aren't idiots either. They have what I would call a basic knowledge of advanced flight combat maneuvers, but nothing that a relatively experienced simmer can't handle first time."

Second Place: Jane's WW2 Fighters (c) Jane's Combat Simulations
Percentage of Votes: 15.85% (tied with third)

"Janes' WW2 Fighters sets the new standard in flight sims for graphics, and gameplay. It is so far above and beyond its competition that it begins to shadow even some of the latest non-historical flight sims. If your computer has the guts to run this game, and you've been itching to test out that new TNT or Voodoo2 video card, this game will be for you. With its scalable gameplay which will appeal to the non-propellerheads out there who just want to go up and shoot down Jerry's, and its beautiful, realistically detailed graphics, and plethora of historical information to absorb, this game will go down as one of the turning points in PC flight sims. Third Place: F-15 (c) Jane's Combat Simulations
Percentage of Votes: 15.85% (tied with second)

"Final Thoughts: It's a Jane's brand product, so you know it's good. Great graphics, good sound, deep gameplay, complex control (in terms of sheer # of commands, not the difficulty of use), and slightly monotonous multiplayer round out this package. As all flight sims, this is for a select breed of gamer, however it is quite a good game to join that breed, due to a relatively simple introduction and multiple training missions."-DaxX
