Acclaim announces two South Park Titles

Date: May 13th

One thing Acclaim Entertainment is good at is seizing a license and running with it. To that end, the company has announced the development of two South Park games for the PC. The first is a multiplayer trivia game hosted by the show's infamous impromptu maestro, Chef. South Park: Chef's Luv Shack contains dozens of mini-games, such as Spank the Monkey with Mr. Mackey, Asses in Space with Terrance in Phillip, and Huntin' and Killin' with Jimbo and Ned. People can play as Cartman, Stan Kyle or Kenny with up to four friends. The game also features hundreds of soundbytes created specifically for the game by Isaac Hayes, the voice of Chef, and the show's creators, Matt Stone and Trey Parker. It is going to be available this fall and, yes, it is recommended for immature audiences only as it contains adult language and content.

Acclaim also announced a new racing game that has all of South Park's characters careening around their sleepy Colorado town in Kart-style vehicles. With Cartman on his police tricycle and Chef in his wagon, the town should be in shambles before anyone crosses the finish line. South Park Rally will feature dozens of circuits, multiple vehicles and hundreds of soundbytes created specifically for the game by the show's creators, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, and Isaac Hayes, the voice of Chef. It, too, is scheduled to be available this fall for the PC and, despite the Kart-theme, contains adult language and content.
